KIXO LIMITED – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Kixo Social, owned and operated by KIXO Limited (“Kixo”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the KIXO app, website, or services (together, the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. Our mission is to help you discover and join real-world sports and social events — safely, fairly, and in good spirit.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Account Registration

You must register an account to host or join events. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information. False profiles may be removed.

4. Hosting & Attending Events

Hosts are solely responsible for the accuracy of event details, securing any necessary permissions, and ensuring the event complies with local laws. Participants attend events at their own risk. KIXO is not responsible for accidents, injuries, loss, or damages arising from events. Hosts and attendees must behave respectfully and lawfully.

5. Payments & Fees

Paid events are subject to a 10% platform fee (unless otherwise agreed). Payments are processed through third-party providers (Stripe, Revolut, etc.). Refunds are subject to the event host’s cancellation policy. KIXO is not obligated to issue refunds unless required by law.

6. Ratings & Reviews

Ratings and reviews should be honest and respectful. We may remove content that is false, defamatory, or violates our community standards.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not: Use the Platform for illegal activities. Harass, harm, or exploit others. Misuse payment systems to avoid platform fees. Post misleading or false event information.

8. Intellectual Property

All content and branding on the Platform (excluding user-generated event content) belongs to KIXO Limited. You may not use our trademarks or materials without prior written consent.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to our collection and use of your data in line with that policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: Kixo Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Kixo Limited’s total liability for any claim arising from the Platform is limited to the greater of €50 or the amount you paid to us in the last 12 months.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kixo Limited, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your events, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Platform with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
